A staggering 2,017 people have now signed and sent our open letter to Ceredigion County Council calling for Borth Wild Animal Kingdom to be closed down for good!

Despite these difficult times, you can still take action for animals trapped in captivity by simply signing and sharing our letter to demand the full and permanent closure of this cruel zoo.

Earlier this year, Ceredigion Council ordered Borth Wild Animal Kingdom to close the enclosures of its most dangerous (known as 'Category 1') animals, including those of lions, capuchins and lynx after the zoo's owners breached the terms of their licence condition. The council requested that Borth Zoo close voluntarily until they resolved the issue. The zoo initially did, however later reopened against the advice of the council due to financial difficulties. The failing zoo has remained open now for over a month, still in breach of its licence conditions.

The owners of the zoo are due to appear at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court next Thursday (26th March) after they appealed their zoo closure direction on the last day that they could do so.

Take action to have Borth Zoo closed for good!

Add your signature to our letter to the council, demanding they close this zoo down completely.
