Freedom for Animals began as the Captive Animals' Protection Society in 1957 and works to end the captivity of animals, especially those used for entertaining the public in zoos, circuses and the media industry. Freedom for Animals is currently looking for a Festive Events Campaigner to join our small but dedicated team! The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, experience in carrying out thorough research, the ability to organise efficiently with external groups as well as a commitment to ending animal suffering. Working with our Director, the role will involve researching festive events that use animals, liaising with local authorities and event organisers to encourage them not to use animals and supporting grassroots groups throughout the UK to campaign on this important issue.
