Megan Crossley - Office Assistant I have always been passionate about animal welfare and for a long time I have admired the important work that Freedom for Animals does to improve the lives of animals. I fully believe in the organisation’s ethics and opposition to captivity and I feel very privileged to be working alongside such passionate and dedicated individuals. Megan joined the staff team in September 2017 in the role of Office Assistant but has been working with Freedom for Animals as a social media volunteer since 2016. Whilst studying English Literature at the University of York, Megan’s research focused on the representation of animals as commodities. It was during that time that she first encountered Freedom for Animals at an event stand and was eager to help support our campaigns. Beyond her education, Megan has always been keen to volunteer with animal rights and conservation projects. She has volunteered for local animal sanctuaries and as well as international conservation projects for whales and dolphins. She is also a trained Marine Mammal Observer and Marine Mammal Medic.
