Freedom for Animals (formerly known as the Captive Animals Protection Society) is one of the oldest animal rights charities in the UK. Established in 1957, we are celebrating over 65 years of working for animals. Through a combination of undercover investigations, research, campaigns, political lobbying and education, Freedom for Animals is working for an end to the abuse and exploitation of animals for human entertainment in zoos, mobile zoos, aquariums, bird of prey centres, circuses, TV, film and media, and the exotic pet trade.

Freedom for Animals is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support the Director and other staff, including Fundraising Manager and Campaigns Manager to ensure proper flow of office procedures, carrying out common office duties and entering data on to the Salesforce database ensuring that it is kept accurate and up to date.

The successful candidate will join a small but growing team and will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the organisation’s strategic objectives.

You will have demonstrable office administration experience,  have excellent communication skills and experience of working within small to medium-sized teams. You will be a team player, have a good level of education, be a passionate advocate for animals and share Freedom for Animals ethos and vision. Knowledge of animal protection issues relating to zoos, mobile zoos, aquariums, bird of prey centres, circuses, use of animals in TV, film and other media, and the exotic pet trade would be an advantage.
