Adopt an Animal

Adopt an Animal with us and help fight for the freedom of all animals used in entertainment

Looking for a great gift idea or just want to treat yourself? Then adopt an animal with us and help to raise funds at the same time.

By adopting an animal you will not only be helping the species you have chosen to learn more about but all animals we campaign tirelessly for. Adoptions help pay for campaign materials that we send out to local groups who are carrying out protests, they help pay for investigations such as our recent aquarium investigation. Adoptions also help pay for any equipment we may need for investigations and also, political lobbying, locally and nationally.

Your adoption fuels the fight for an end to animal captivity and freedom for all animals.

In your pack you will receive:

  • Welcome letter
  • Certificate of adoption
  • Cuddly toy made from plastic bottles! (optional)
  • Information fact sheet on your chosen species
  • Release newsletter
  • Relevant campaigns material
  • And all wrapped up in a box (so it's easy to give as a gift)

Adoptions cost from just £30 and run for a whole year. Over that time our adopters receive our twice yearly newsletter, Release, and regular updates about our campaigns, with hints and tips on more ways you can help animals.

When you Adopt an Animal you help raise vital funds so we can keep campaigning for a brighter future for all captive animals and their chance of freedom.

Click on the species below to learn more and how you can help by adopting an animal with us today.

Choose your adoption

Support elephants today by adopting. You will support work to free elephants from captivity and raise awareness of their exploitation.

ADOPT AN ELEPHANT

Help owls fly free by adopting an owl. Your adoption will support campaigns againt cruel zoos, bird of prey displays, and the exotic pet trade.

ADOPT AN OWL

Keep turtles where they belong, in the ocean. Your adoption will fuel work to expose aquariums, the trade in wild animals and to fight for their freedom.

ADOPT A SEA TURTLE

Kate the elephant, Lulu the turtle and Ronny the owl are the individual animals who represent the animals that are used in the many different ways to ‘entertain’ humans. From zoos to aquariums to mobile displays and the many other ways animals are exploited in the name of entertainment. All animals in captivity long to be wild and free, not ‘kept’ to please humans.

Adoption pack delivery details:

Delivery of your Adopt an Animal packs is free. Adopt an Animal packs are only available in the UK and Ireland.
